Need Ogunquit hotel help
I need assistance finding a hotel or inn for 1 night in Ogunquit - Saturday, Oct. 5th. I'm finding a lot of no vacancies or 2 night minimum stays.
Any suggestions on places to check or alternative cities would be greatly appreciated.
I need the hotel because I can't check into my Ogunquit hotel until Sunday because they require a combo Friday and Sat night stay.

I don't know what your plans are but you could consider staying a noght in Portsmouth NH. Not too far away and some fun restaurants etc.

We stayed at the Anchorage in Ogunquit a few years ago and really enjoyed it. I forget how we got around that 2 day min. stay thing (someone else was in charge of the details)

Good luck!
Have you tried Juniper Hill or Meadowmere?? -- have stayed at both and they are both good choices....never knew them to have a minimum stay that far into the season....

UInfortunately, you are hitting it at the fall leave peeper time, but you may find a hotel/motel that will rent one night by making a few calls. I suggest you check the Maine Innkeepers Association website at maineinns.com as they have a ton of listings in all Maine towns especially alot of listings in Oqunquit and wells, a town nearby.

We stayed at the Milestone earlier this month, very nice, short walk to footbridge beach and on the trolley stop.

Keep trying. Not all require 2-3 night minimums. Leaf peeping is more in the mountains than along the coast. Lots of innkeepers stick to that minimum business, then have vacancy signs outside when you drive by.
