Need nonstop romantic beach destination from Fort Lauderdale

Looking for a relaxing beach destination we can get to non-stop from FLL for a 3-day getaway with husband in September. We do NOT need activity other than good food, a good gym, and someplace to swim. Not concerned about price. Considering Negril but we have been there before. Thought we could get to Puerto Morelos in Mexico but can't find nonstop flight to Cancun. Would love to stay at the Moorings on Islamorada but really can't swim in their beach. Thanks in advance for your ideas.

We've had great stays at La Semana in St. Martin (the French side of the island) and at Sandy Lane in Barbados.

Not sure about flights from FLL, but I would think both have direct flights from Miami.

Thanks, both good ideas, but no nonstops to either place from here. We won't go to Miami. There have got to be some desirable tropical destinations nonstop from Fort Lauderdale!

I might suggest you go onto the FLL website and check for their lust of scheduled flights. Other option is to go to the timetables for the major carriers and search by departures from FLL. With a major hub like Miami relatively close I would think you have limited options.

My first thought was Harbour Island, Eleuthera. Fly into ELH and take a 5-minute boat ride to its beautiful, pink sand beach. Check out Pink Sands or others on this website:

Easy flight to paradise!

Thank you both for good suggestions. I have always wanted to visit Eleuthera. I didn't think of going to the airport site to see flights out, but I will do that now.
