Depends on what kind of food you want to eat. You can get this info from Zagats. Maybe some hints on budget?? favorite type of food, ambience required. Most of these are very quiet expensive places that I have been with business partners or client dinners.

I don't know anything about the places you listed but if you like seafood you must go to Scoma's. It is my favorite seafood place in the entire country! You will have to wait but it is worth every minute.

Silks and the Fifth Floor are very elegant, expensive and the food is excellent. La Folie is more casual but the food is also excellent.

I don't know why people on this board keep raving about Scomas. It's terrible. It is totally touristy, over priced, rude service, and the food is just not special. Both in SF and Sausalito.

Scoma's used to be good but that was a long time ago.
