Need LAX Advice

Picking up a friend Thursday at Terminal 6. Once I get into the "airport" where do I go? I've tried to look on the website... but it isn't too specifuc. Thanks.

That was dumb... my question... which I neglected to mention... is about parking! Where do I park and how far is it from baggage claim? The website says that "temporary parking" is $3.00 per hour... but it doesn't give specifics or directions. Anyone familiar? Thanks.

There are parking structures across from the terminals (they are in a horseshoe around the center which has a restaurant, parking structures, etc. I don't know the price in the parking structures but I know it isn't cheap. Still better than parking off airport and taking a tram in - that is too big a hassle. Plan to meet your friend in baggage claim and then just go across the street to the parking structures.

Follow the sign to the Arrivals level. Get in the left lane (because the parking garages are inside the horseshoe). The signs to the parking garages have the name of the airlines on them (and maybe the terminal number). You'll have two shots: the first where you cut across the U to the garage, and the second shot when you are in front of T6. If you miss both then just look for a left turn that will allow you to make another pass without having to go down Century Blvd.

Just look for the signs on the left and you'll be ok.

When you cross the street do it at a crossing zone and do not go against the light.

When you park, stay on the bottom level.
