Need hotel room in NYC asap
 
Everything in NYC is booked for this weekend - my friend and I want a nice, trendy hotel for under $200 for Saturday night preferably downtown. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Just checked hotels.com - If you can go up to $230, the Algonquin or the Hampton Inn Chelsea both have rooms. Good luck, you'll need it.

Sometimes (SOMETIMES) the Embassy Suites in Battery Park City runs weekend specials. Check their website or better yet CALL them. Another good option would be the Marriott Financial District. They might have some great weekend rates.

I'd try Priceline - after checking biddingfortravel.com first for the hotel options where you would like to be. If they are &quot;trendy&quot; enough, it would be worth a shot.

Try quikbook.com they might have something for the weekend. Also the Hotel QT has recently opened, It's not downtown, but it's new and it might be fun to check it out. Rates on Quikbook for this hotel are cheaper than the hotel's website.
