Need hotel recommendation asap
 

We are currently staying at the Del where the union workers are protesting. We are checking out tomorrow and don't know where to go. We want a nice hotel on the beach that is close to jet ski rentals or parasailing. Most hotels have mixed reviews so it's hard to tell. TIA!

You might get more/faster responses if you put the name of the city in your "heading" or "title" of the thread.

Is this a game? I guess Hotel del Coronado, San Diego. It is on the beach.

Just came back from San Pedro area, just north of the city in Palos Verdes...new resort called Terrenea. This was former site of Marineland of the Pacific where I went as a kid. I posted pic of my wife in 1962 with bubbles.

I presume you mean the Hotel Del Coronado in Coronado, CA?
Across the bay from San Diego?
There are tons of hotels in Coronado, ask at the main desk of the Del and they should help you find a replacement hotel on the island.
If not ask them for hotels across the bay in downtown San Diego. There are lots of great hotels across the bay too- you can catch a ferry back and forth between the Embarcadero and Coronado.

You can also stay in the Mission Bay area - that would be the best area for parasailing and beach activities. I don't particularly like the Pacific Beach, North Mission Bay areas because the area is popular with college kids, drinking parties etc.
