Need help with Nags Head restaurants & bar

Looking for a good sports bar in Nags Head as well as a good place for breakfast/brunch and a solid seafood place. Any help, especially with the sports bar, would be much appreciated :-)

One restaurant we really liked is: Awful Arthur’s Oyster Bar & Restaurant
Sit upstairs and enjoy the view of the ocean! We had oysters and beer and the oysters were great.

We did most of our own cooking while there so I don't have many recommendations but a good place for breakfast is: http://www.nagsheadpier.com/food.htm I say this because I don't think you can screw up breakfast to much and the views from the pier are wonderful! I wouldn't choose it for dinner but we were there for a bowl of soup for lunch.

If you're thinking college sports, it'll be hard to find a television that isn't showing college football or basketball. Lots of Hokie love here but there are a at least a couple of NC schools that get a lot of attention too. Barefoot Bernies (MP 4.5) on the biz road draws a lot of sports fans. Food is good-ish. Food is a little better at Mama Kwans but not as many tv's. I haven't been there in a while. There is, gag, a Hooters.

For good local seafood and lots of it, I'd go to Basnight's Lone Cedar. It's been around forever and is very very popular with locals and visitors. Kind of a 60s throwback in decor (as in still in the 60s, not retro), it's large and noisy but serves consistently good seafood, simply done. For a more complex and interesting menu I'd send you to Blue Pointe or to Ocean Blvd. Superb food, seafood included but not exclusively.

Sam & Omie's is a great breakfast spot. We always eat there several times when we are on the Outer Banks.

You could also try Tale of the Whale...I thought the Lone Cedar was fine although apparently trying to save money on their electric bill last time I was there...but it does make women of a certain age look better.

Thanks everyone. For the sports bar, tv's and cold beer are more important than food ;-) I feel I have a handle on things now!
