Need help with my CA itenerary
 

Would like to add one day in Wine Country. Where Do I add or take away from my intenerary below.
Monday-Oakland- Arrive 11:30 am
Head to Yosemite
Tuesday Yosemite
Wednesday Yosemite
Thursday Yosemite
Friday - SF
Saturday -SF
Sunday-SF
Monday-Monterey
Tuesday-Monterey
Wed- Head back to Oakland Airport
Thursday-Fly out at 7am
We are in SF for the w/e because the lodging is free. Can I fit in a day in Wine Country

I suggest you use your SF Saturday to take a day trip up north, rent a car for that day if you don't otherwise have one.

Since you only have 2 full days in SF, you might want to visit some wineries in the Monterey area, or stop at a couple along the way to (or way back from) Monterey.

There are a couple of interesting wineries in the Santa Cruz mountains, and several along the Morgan Hill/Gilroy corridor. Mirrasou is in San Jose, just off 101. Carmel Valley has several wineries.

Leave Yosemite late Thurs afternoon and stay overnight in Wine Country, then visit there Fri morning and afternoon.

I like Grasshopper's suggestion of checking out a some wineries as part of your Monterey excursion. There are a number of wineries in the Santa Cruz Mountains as well as in San Jose/Silicon Valley.
