Need help with gift cards for kids going to Princeton, Johns Hopkins and Miami of Ohio

Hi - looking for suggestions on restaurants and gift cards for boys who will attending princeton, johns hopkins and miami/ohio this fall. What are some college hangouts that would offer gift cards for them to use for snacking, late night dinners, weekends, etc. Since they won't have cars, the places need to be near campus I think. Thanks!

Hi, Starbucks gift cards are well-loved by most college students. There definitely is a starbucks immed off-campus at Princeton, on Nassau St,w hich is the main drag for hanging out and shopping. I would imagine there must be starbucks near hopkins, but don't know for sure. You can check the starbucks.com website for store locations in baltimore and miami of ohio.

Starbucks, barnes and noble, itunes, amex - all the gift cards can be redeemed on-line too, so it's not as if they need a brick and mortar store . . .

I was hoping for Jamba Juice but they don't have locations in those cities. The guys are athletes - would love to find a restaurant for them.

I'd suggest getting a visa and just put some money on it for them so they can use it as they want to. The refillable cards are available at lots of places these days, from banks to drug stores.

There is a great, casual restaurant in Princeton called JB Winberry's. It is very close to campus and much loved by students and locals alike.

When my parents visited my brother at Princeton that is the place they all always wanted to go to. Casual atmosphere, nice bar, great food and moderate prices.

A gift certificate from there would be greatly appreciated.

Check the official websites for each colllege. You may find the bookstores and restaurants, stores, etc on or near each campus. You might also find things to send direct from campus (i.e.-Mich St has a bakery on campus and on the web, so you can send a cookie bakset, or other goodies direct to a student in their dorm.) Many college bookstores are run by Barnes and Noble and you can usually find that out by checking on the college website, and then send a B & N gift card. And Starbucks always works for a college student.
