Need help locating San Francisco souvenirs
 

Hi all,

Just got back from San Francisco, but I didn't have enough time to pick up the rest of the souvenirs that I wanted to get. I'm going back later this year so I suppose I could pick them up then, but would love to get them now. What I'm looking for is the National Parks magnet set designed by Michael Schwab. It contains locations like Crissy Field, Fort Mason, Alcatraz, Muir Woods, etc. on metal magnets with what appears to be enamel paint. I was able to get the Golden Gate Parks one and Alcatraz, but really want the rest of them. If anyone can help me get ahold of these, let me know.

Google "sf souvenir" - I got a loooooooooong list of e-shops

Tried both ebay and the web. Problem is that the magnets seem to be available ony from the park gift stores and www.parksconservancy.org but they don't have the magnets in stock. I've been watching ebay and haven't seen anything yet.

I would try calling the sites at which you saw the magnets and trying to order them over the phone--maybe they could take your cc info and mail you the magnets, since they wouldn't require major packaging. Good luck!

Thanks Newb, think I'm gonna try that. So far these are tougher to find than I though they'd be.
