Need help in Las Vegas

I'll be going to Las Vegas for a business meeting shortly. My boss wants me to set up a scavenger hunt for the meeting participants that won't cost much and will be reasonably easy to find(not too easy). Help! Can anyone think up Las Vegas type things for me to include? Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi Debbie -

Two things come to mind. First would be some mardi gras beads from the Orleans. The Orleans is off the strip so it would take either a car, taxi or shuttle bus to get there. Possibly adding to the difficulty as far as time it takes to get the beads.

Second, you could have them get a mini menu from Bally's. There's a table next to the Indigo Lounge (near the Steakhouse and Season's restaurants) that has about 8 different mini-menus from some of the Paris and Bally's restaurants. It's kind of unusual.

That's all I can think about right now. I'll let you know if anything else comes to mind.

Lynn

:-)
How about a slot club card from any of the hotels? they all have them and it only takes a couple of minutes to get one. A coin bucket. Beads from Rio.
How about a picture of game player with an Elvis impersonator...?

A couple more ideas...

Some wetnaps with certain hotel logos on them. They are available at all the change cages.

One of those small glasses they serve comped coffee in; it's usually wrapped with a napkin around it and a rubberband.

A $5 chip or a "silver dollar" from a certain casino.

A copy of the Las Vegas Review Journal or What's On.

A piece of "girly" literature from the guys on the street. Although that may not be appropriate it's certainly very "Vegas."

A free asprin (if there is a way to verify it) from that gas station on the strip that says they'll give anyone a free asprin. I don't know if you have to buy gas or something, never done it.

Lynn

:-)

How about something from one of the wedding chaples, ie: a blank marriage certificate.

Another item that might be a little bit of a challange to get would be a ticket stub from a bellhop from one of two or three hotels.

Don't forget drink stirrers, hotel soaps, $1 gambling chips from each casino, many casinos have collectible coins, show programs, coin cups, and my favorite 10 point bonus item... contestants and celebrity photos (the real Elvis is 25 point bonus)

Not just the slot club cards, but the key chain contraption to put them on. Beads from the Rio might be tough because you have to be lucky enough to catch them when the Masquarade in the Sky show is on. Coin cups, matches are all good ideas.
