Need feedback/advise in trip to Seattle

We are traveling to Seattle this 3rd of April 09 and will stay for two nights.
My son booked us at Warwick thru Expedia deluxe room with space needle view.
Any previous experience with this hotel? about surroundings at night?

Also, I loved seafoods like oysters, crabs and halibuts. I would like to buy and bring them home with me to Santa Clara CA. In the past when I ordered online, the shipping charges are higher than the value of goods like when I ordered live oysters. So I hope I can save some $$. Any particular stores that I can visit and order.
Thanks for the advise

The Warwick is a good hotel conveniently located to shopping, restaurants, entertainment, sights, and transportation.

City Fish Company and Pike Place Fish, both in the Pike Place Market, are both expert in packing fish for long-distance transport: pikeplacefish.com and cityfish.com

We always buy our fish from Pure Foods in Pike Market. They wrap it quite well for flying home. We also have ordered from them and had fish shipped. You really should stop by at least and try their hot wood fire smoked salmon.

I really like the Warwick Hotel!! My office is right down the street & we had our holiday party there this year (and I stayed over night). Brasserie Margeaux, their restaurant is a very nice French restaurant.

Right across the street is Ralph's Grocery & Deli, Dahlia Bakery (great for breakfast, lunch, snacks), Dahlia Lounge, Lola's, and Assagio's are all good restaurants same block.

For your fish, just walk down to the Pike Place Market. Any of the fish vendors, pack on dry ice for the plane.

The Warwick is in a good location.

You can easily walk to Pike Place Market.
This will be a highlight. Dont forget your camera.

If you love shopping here is a good site.

The downtown area would be under retail core.
