Need Boston Restaurant Recommendation for this Sunday

Any recommendations for a good restaurant that's open on Sunday in Boston? Cuisines: Italian, American, or French. Prices: not L'Espalier price range, but no pizza parlors either. Thanks!

I like Stephanie's on Newbury Street. A reservation is a must though.

I like Sel de la Terre on Long Wharf. Too bad it is going to be so cold or you could walk around the waterfront, but it is right across the street from the Aquarium T stop, and you might while away the afternoon there. The BEST pommes frites, great breads, nice people, pleasant atmosphere.

Best recommendations are at www.chowhound.com and go to the Boston site.. these people know everything

If you like Italian, the obvious place to go would be the North End, which has dozens of Italian restaurants, one after the oter. Some of my favorite mid priced ones are Maurizios on Hanover St, and L'Osteria on Salem St.

so manyh to choose from ! - you could also check on opentable.com and save some $ calling to see their web sites, prices, menus, and what is available.

Stephanie's mentioned is a great choice - their site is stephaniesonnewbury.com - we eat there frequently and are never disappointed.

Other favorites of ours in town are Hammersley's bistro, Les Zygomates, Torch, in the north end Sage, Rabia's, Prezzo and Piccolo Nido (the latter not fancy, but always good food) - a fairly new restaurant, different but fun is 28 degrees (reviews, write ups on opentable.com) if that type of place would appeal to you for something funky - great martinis, small sample type portions offered -

opentable a good place to plug in your date and time and see what pops up and then read their different menus and prices.
