Need As Much Detail As Possible on Aston Maui Kaanapali Villas

Hello all...
We are heading to Maui for Christmas and plan to make most of our meals.

Can you recommend a good grocery store..we will have car so we'd prefer a great grocery store that isn't terribly expensive.

Does anyone know how well the kitchens are outfitted?
Are there plenty of knives, blender, shot glass, cork screw, juice pitchers, coffee maker and filters.
What about hair dryers in the bathrooms?
Are all linens furnished..do we need to bring beach towels?
Do the condos have cable or satellite TV? Not for me of course, but the kids love Nick and Disney!

Any other details or "what not to forget to pack" tips are appreciated.

Also...can you recommend a luau..we are 6 adults and 4 kids ages 2,7,8 and 11.
Hate to pay full fare for the 2 year old as he won't eat at the luau.

Thanks!

Call the property itself direct, if it's Aston they should all be outfitted pretty much the same tho' decor & furnishings will vary.

There's a Safeway at Lahaina Cannery Mall, Star Market in Napili Plaza and across from Embassy, Costco by the airport. Stillwell's Bakery in Wailuku is a must too.

Thanks so much....I"ll call the property directly.

Doesn't sound like locating a grocery store is going to be an issue.
Thanks again for your help

We stayed there from 10/19-10/24! We were in room 512. It was great! Kitchen was well appointed. Safeway is in the Lahaina Cannery. Cable TV, not satellite. Plenty of silverware in our unit. Coffee maker too, although there is no free coffee! You are supposed to get a pouch when you arrive, then that's it. I asked for one everyday and received it. Hair dryer was also in our unit.Ironing board. Also beach towels. Right next door is the Royal Lahaina and they have a luau every night. The Old Lahaina Luau is supposed to be worth the money. You can check out the Royal Lahaina luau right from Kaanapali Beach. Snorkle stuff is cheap at the Kahului WalMart, so don't bring your own-it's a hassle! Enjoy your visit to AKV!!! We sure did!!! PSPERCY--were you in Maui the same time we were?? In Kauai you were right upstairs from us, as I found out when we got back!

Tipping the maid will often cause coffee pouches to be restocked :) and they need the $ too.
Tommyd, no, no Maui this year :(
