Need advice (Alain, France)

Is 10 days a too long stay to visit New Mexico?. Second question: how is Panhandle in late November?
Thanks

The New Mexico question is a tough one to answer unless we know more about the entire trip. Also, What Panhandle--Texa?

I'd probably plan on about 5-7 days in New Mexico, but 10 isn't excessive. November will be fairly nice at lower altitudes ther, but it will probably be miserable in Santa Fe. I know you're combining this trip with other destinations. I'd visit NM first, if at all possible.

I've been to Santa Fe in November and didn't find it miserable at all. We had sunny days where a light jacket was sufficient. At night needed heavy jacket and gloves to stay warm. It was nice coming back to a room with a fireplace.

Bienvenue a Etats Unis! Ten days is not too long if you are going to be driving around. Northern New Mexico is especially pretty. I went to camp in Ute Park between Cimarron and Eagles Nest..and it was gorgeous up there...
The panhandle be careful of "black ice" road conditions can be tricky especially around Clayton NM...but much of it depends upon the weather conditions at that time. Highway Patrol is usually good about warnings.
I would definitely go see Taos, Santa Fe and even Albuquerque. I think New Mexico is great and I hope you find it pretty as well.

I should correct my statement above about being miserable in Santa Fe. You very well may have bright, clear days. I'm just prejudiced because I have had bad weather the two times I visited at that time of year. I've been there once in late October, and another time in early November. Both times there was very cold rain, then snow.
