Need a recommendation for restaurants in Federal Hill.

I'm going to Providence in 2 weeks and have heard good things about the restaurants in Federal Hill. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

You really can't get a bad meal on Federal Hill! For seafood, try the Providence Oyster Bar. For Italian Gourmet, try Mediterraneo. For Cheap But Good Italian, try Angelo's. For Eclectic, try the Ecletic Grille. For Italian Pastry and coffee, Pastiche is #1.

Check www.phantomgourmet.com and use the search engine to find a listing of all of the places in Providence that the Phantom has reviewed. Lot's of excellent restaurants in Pro-town.

Message:I agree with all of Sap's recommendations. Mediteranneo is a don't miss place.I also recommend Cassarino's or Costantino's. You can't go wrong at The Old Canteen either. All serve Italian cuisine and located on the same street. Pastiche has the best Chocolate Mousse Cake ever, as well as a delicious Lemon Tart. Where ever you go for dinner, save room for goodies from Pastiche.

Thanks for the recommendations. We'll try one of the Italian restaurants and save room for dessert.
