Loch-over was the place to do that. It recently reopened under Lydia Shire, one of our top chefs who is female.
I haven't seen the vamped place but their were small rooms for private parties we used for holidays and engagements. |
Hi again cigalechanta, hope all is well with you! My AC is broken and now our belated summer has arrived, and of course it's Friday evening of a 3-day weekend! Anyway, I think you mean Locke-ober's.
Home02, what sort of price bracket are you talking about? There are many very nice hotels in that area, notably the Ritz-Carlton, but perhaps you'd rather just find a restaurant with a private room? Why not try the Hampshire House, across the Common from the 4 Seasons? Check it out: http://cuisinenet.com/info/?v=237&/b...est/3142.shtml You are also not far from a number of notable seafood places, for the essential Boston experience. |
About a year ago, I had dinner at the top of the Prudential. The food was wonderful and the views were spactacular. There were about 25 of us in a private room. After dinner, there was live music in the main restaurant area. It was a great evening.

If you would not mine taking cabs into Cambridge, I would suggest Sandrine's. The owner, used to be the head chef at Le Meridien. If you contact the restaurant, you can have the chef prepare a chef's table for your party. The website is www.sandrines.com.
