Need a great restaurant in Ft. Lauderdale to Boca
 

We're having a girls night out and looking for the best dining experiences anywhere from Ft. Lauderdale to Boca Raton. Does anyone have a favorite they'd recommend?
Has anyone been to Joe's Stone Crab?

lots of restaurants that are great in this area. Joe's Stone Crab, however, is in South Beach area of Miami Beach...quite a drive from Fort Lauderdale or Boca for dinner.

What area is closer to where you are staying? LMF

sunfish grill in pompano beach, on atlantic blvd and the intracoastal. not much from the outside. inside you'll find probably the best seafood resto between the two cities you mentioned. check out their review in zagat.

Best restaurants from Ft. Laud to Boca actually is a bit north of Boca (only 5 minutes from city limits) in Delray Beach on Atlantic Ave. Recommend City Oyster and Splendid Blendid but lots more to choose from. Lots of jazz, blues, music clubs and an English pub! Great place to walk around. In Boca must go to The Addison - best food and ambience in town.

Thanks everyone. We'll be driving from West Palm to Miami to do our "stuff", so it really doesn't matter about the distance. Charlie's Crab I've walked out of. Huge dissapointment; service AND food! Nothing like our Michigan CC in Troy which is great...still!

My favorite is Redfire Grill in either WPB or PB. Can't remember.

Trish: Was it Charlie's Crab in Ft Lauderdale where you walked out or the one in Naples? I have been going to the one in FLL for almost 20 years & have never been disappointed. Now the one in Naples. That's another story altogether. It was awful & we walked out! That was about 4, maybe 5 years ago. Don't know if it is still there.
