Need 2 recommendations Calistoga

Would love a recommendation for dinner while in Calistoga.

Also, a recommendation for a 'spa experience.' Massage and/mud bath....

Thank you

Here's 30 seconds of googling. You might try it some time.

We ate at JoLe when we were in Calistoga and it was very good.

Hey, Rastaguytoday.

I have heard of Googling..... Who knew!

I was hoping for a recommendation from an educated, well traveled person - the kind of member I would think Fodor's drew to it's forums.

My bad..........

Thanks AustinTraveler.

+1 JoLe

Matt and Sonjia Spector made Matyson one of Philadelphia's finest BYOB's. Philly's loss is Calistoga's gain!

service, my experience is not a recent one but we were talked out of the mud baths - based on the ick factor. Instead we had a spa day at what is now the EuroSpa on Pine st and had pseudo mud bath experience with materials added to fresh water bath.

Hopefully someone with more recent spa experiences will sign on and give you another recommendation.

The google "recommendation" is lame.

service1010 - I've been to Calistoga more than 50 times. Things chage on a yearly basis.

Try this:

Although, Buster's Southern Grill does have its charm.

My personal favorites are Terra in St. Helena and Bistro Jeanty in Yountville.

starrs - sometimes folks don't even check before asking a simple question.

You can go high end with something like Solage for a resort or you can go average to low end with Calistoga Hotel.

To each his own. Without stating pricing, it can be all over the map.

Starrs, thanks for the information. And fr the solidarity!

kmpb - JoLe looks yum!

Rastaguytoday, you're right, a forum exchange can be a lazy way to gather information!

In my case, I have done too much research - and now they all sound the same....

That's why I asked for a recommendation, or two.

I appreciate all of the recommendations that you posted above. Thank you
