NC Blue Ridge Parkway drive
 

Will be in Henderson NC in october and would like to drive the BRP. Were would we get on in that part of the state and reccomendations on what the best parts are to stop for the night and sightsee? any info on stops, food, motels, etc would be most helpful and appreciated.

It is Henderson and not Hendersonville that you will be? It's a little further west to pick it up for Henderson. Starrs has given you the site to look at.

We stayed overnight at the Peaks of Otter Lodge on the BRP and loved it. It is also very reasonable as to rates. Check out their website.
