NC and Va Coastal B&B's

I'm looking for B&B suggestions along the NC Coast and VA Beach and/or Colonial Williamsburg areas. Are there any lighthouse B&B's along the way? We'll be driving the the entire NC coast to Va beach and unsure where we will overnight.

When will you do this, and do you expect to just be able to "pop in" and get a room?

OBX stands for Outer Banks.

Have you looked at the map? Will you be taking the ferry to Ocracoke or using the mainland route to Manteo?

OK so you'll take 17 north through Myrtle. Be aware of bike weeks in Myrtle and plan to drive through early so you won't get stuck in traffic. Since you only have 5 days I'd stay in Wilmington for a night, then head to the ferry. 17 north of Wilmington is not a coastal route, so you'll be going through small towns like Maysville. If you can make it to Swan Quarter in time for the ferry, I'd go on to Ocracoke and stay here:
