Native American Tours/Tour Guides

We are visiting New Mexico this August and would like to learn more about Native American culture. Does anyone know of any tours or tour guides that we might contact.
In past trips to Arizona we have visited the Navajo and Hopi reservations and are looking to do the same with one of the tribes in New Mexico

You'll need a guide to visit Acoma Pueblo. http://sccc.acomaskycity.org/

Here's a link to Taos Pueblo information:
http://www.taospueblo.com/visiting

And this is for the eight northern NM pueblos (which includes Taos): http://www.santafenm.info/pueblos.htm

Hope this is helpful.

Be sure to dress for the weather, be prepared for (hopefully) sudden heavy rains called monsoons, altitude and sun issues and respect the rules of etiquette for visiting pueblos.

And drink LOTS of water, wear a hat ,dress in layers.

We did the Acoma tour last August and thought it was great. For more detail, you can click on my name and read the report if you like.
