National Zoo in DC

I am very excited to go and see the National Zoo in exciting Washington DC but I would like tips and hints on what to wear. I wish to be appropriate yet comfortable...elegant yet practical. Does anybody know of any lizards on display? Any other tips would be so very much appreciciated. **smooch**

Your hotel robe.

There are lots of lizards at the zoo. Don't **smooch** them.

I understand that the gorillas at the zoo love to watch TV - game shows and soap operas especially (i guess makes sense given their IQs).

Perhaps they would enjoy relaxing in some nice robes too. You might bring some along for them from your hotel - and create a new event for the zoo: robe-wrapped TV relaxing with the golillas.

Bring your loveliest parasol; the orangutans have been known to throw poo, especially when they're on their overhead route.

Ooops, almost forgot to mention the Komodo Dragons, they are huuuuge and very dinosaury and creeeepy; you'l love them! In warm weather they live in outdoor pens where they have water and dig their own burrows.
