national/state park in November

I am thinking about going to the south rim of the grand canyon in early November. Would land in Vegas and drive there and spend a day or day and a half at most there before returning to Vegas. The weather seems iffy at south rim that tome of year-is there another park we could do in a day to day and a half that would have better weather? We could fly into any airport southwest goes to,we did not book tickets yet.thanks

Death Valley National Park - closer to LV and almost guaranteed to not have snow: http://www.nps.gov/deva/index.htm

Early November weather at the south rim shouldn't be "iffy". Snows usually don't occur until December. And November isn't really considered a rainy month.

I think you'll be fine. Having been to Zion twice, Death Valley once, and Grand Canyon four times. My favorite is easily Zion. Everyone should see the Grand Canyon, of course.
I think you would be FINE with weather at all 3 of those.
I think Death Valley and Zion both probably deserve more than a day. Do you hike at all?

I agree with everything spirobulldog said. :)

We love to hike. As mentioned by dayle we just got back from Bryce and Zion. I'm going to look into Death Valley and see what's there and then decide. Thanks

There's a lot of nice hikes and variety in Death Valley. We've also enjoyed the Scotty Castle tour. November should be the beginning of their milder temperatures.
