National parks in november

Hello! We're going to see taliesen west in AZ in november so i thought of visiting some national parks too. Was thinking of starting/flying in vegas and drive to zion (3days), one day in bryce, antelope canyon, grand canyon/horseshoe bend, sedona and end in phoenix. We have a week and a half. Just thought of starting out in zion since it might be cooler/colder than grand canyon?! Wanted to include escalante and monument valley but i think it will be out of the way, right? Any suggestions on other itinerary instead? Thanks!

If you are starting in Vegas and ending in Phoenix, it makes to start with Zion for a sensible route, not because of temps. Zion will actually be considerably warmer than Grand Canyon. Bryce will be the coldest off all your destinations.

Monument Valley is out of the way a little but not so far that you would have to skip it. Just depends on how much driving.
Zion - 3 nights
Bryce - 1 night
Monument Valley - 1 night
Page - 1 night
Grand Canyon - 1 night
Sedona - 3 nights

That's a week and a half. You can cut the night in Page if needed and just do a drive-by to visit Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend.

Thanks midwest hiker. So is it more sensible to start in vegas and end in phoenix or shall i start the other way around? Is including escalante too much or out of the way too? Please help!

Unless there is something you want to see/do in Phoenix, just drive back to Las Vegas from Sedona and return from LV.
Make a stop at Hoover Dam on the way back to Las Vegas.

Having flexible plans for weather purposes is a plus. Keep an eye on the forecasts.

Thanks for the suggestions. Will have to see Taliesin west in flagstaff and it is 30mins away from phoenix airport hence the olan to start on vegas and drive thru national parks and end in phoenix...or is it better to start in phoenix and end in vegas instead?

Taliesin West and Phoenix are 150 miles from Flagstaff.

It really doesn't matter if you start in Vegas or Phoenix in terms of doing this loop to see the parks.

The determining factors should be: flight times, flight cost and rental car cost. Vegas typically wins on all 3 factors but you would have to check your specific dates to verify.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. Definitely a lot of things to factor in plus driving mileage and hours. Our dates are nov 8/9-20/21. Flying from philadelphia, other option is jfk depending on airfare. Ive googled that taliesin west is about 30min drive from phoenix intl airport.

"...taliesin west is about 30min drive from phoenix intl airport."

Depending on time of day and traffic, which can be intense.

However, your previous statement...

"...Taliesin west in flagstaff..."

It's not in Flagstaff.

How about my other option maybe from Phoenix-sedona-grand canyon-monument valley- moab(arches/canyonlands) and fly out in CO or SLC airport or whichever is closer?

My apologies MmePerdue..re taliesin west in flagstaff. I initially saw flagstaff but its in scottsdale. Thank you for the correction and feedback
