My wife and me want to visit some of the national parks and cities between 03\15\-04\01 2013.we have only 2 weeks starting in Los Angeles.
we intend to do itby car.
which of the parks are "must " to be visited" and are they open to visit in this period of the year?
can i buy park pass?

thank you

This should answer the pass question:

I would leave LA on the I-10 freeway east to San Bernardino and I-15, which takes you into southern Utah and Colorado where there are several eye-popping parks...catch the Grand Canyon on your way back. My favorites are Zion, Arches, and Bryce Canyon...but a few hours with a search engine will give you more ideas.

First question: are you starting in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, or San Francisco?

Second question: what are your criteria for a "must-visit?" I might be enthralled by a place you would hate, and vice versa. Unless you tell us what YOU would want to see, all you'll get is statements on what WE would want to see.

You can buy a park pass at the first park you enter and it will let you into all of them for a year.

Everyone who has spent vacations visiting parks have favorites, but Grand Canyon is a must see, and I would also want to see Arches, Canyonlands, Zion, Bryce, Death Valley and Yosemite but two weeks might not be enough time.

Yosemite is probably #1 in my book.

It's what I would call stunning.

It's slightly offseason so it won't be sold out, as they book 365 days in advance.
