I'm having flashbacks....I went to Vandy....do non-college kids go to Exit/In? Just curious as I only remember it being full of Vanderbilt students, esp. on Tuesday's Drink or Drown! Ahhh...such memories. That and Gold Rush!

Well, I'm not in college, but I go - if there's somebody good playing. :)

Jent103 - Thank you so much for the feedback on attire! I'm trying to pack light, so I don't want to haul too much along with me.

Hi ladies! I am planning a Labor Day weekend Bachelorette trip to Nashville. Your posts have been very helpful. I would love to hear a post-review from w351 and CarolineM-- what are you glad you did, wish you had done differently, etc.

I'd love any input. We definitely want the "typical" Bachelorette experience. Looking at staying at the Hampton downtown. Considering a winery or other fun/chill events during the day.

Thanks!

gatorkatie, Arrington Vineyards is a really popular winery outside of town. Kix Brooks (of Brooks & Dunn) owns it, and people go out there all the time for tastings and picnics. I'm not a wine drinker, but my friends seem to like theirs a lot. It's a long drive from downtown, though (~40 minutes), so it may not be ideal for you, but it's fun if you're interested. Closer to downtown, Vinea on 12 South has wine tastings on Saturday, and Rumours (also on 12 South) is a popular wine bar.

Thanks, Jent103!!!

Sure. One thing about the tastings at Arrington, if you do decide to go - they don't take reservations, and there can be a long wait (one friend said she had to wait three hours once). Earlier might be better for the tastings, but they're open from 11am-9pm, I think.

We had a GREAT weekend! Recommendations for future Bachelorette planners...

1)Stay at Hilton or Hampton downtown (within walking distance of nightlife)
2)Dinner at Wild Horse Saloon, called ahead and they gave us special seating close to stage. Great live entertainment, decently priced food.
3)Stick to Broadway for night time entertainment. We most enjoyed Big Bang (dueling pianos) and Tootsies. Decades looked like it could be fun, but it was empty.
4)Graham Central and Coyote Ugly were disappointments.
5)We took a Sunday afternoon trip to Arrington Vineyards. Worth the drive. Bring a picnic!!! Buy a bottle there (they have glasses and openers) and just enjoy the atmosphere while you wait to taste. Wine tasting wasn't that impressive, but still was a nice afternoon.
