Nashville Accomodation

Can you recommend a place to stay in Nashville for an overnight stay? I am taking my daughter to visit Vanderbilt and prefer something quaint and reasonable priced. Thanks!

None of my regular spots are quaint but they are close. Right next to Vanderbilt on West End is a Courtyard, Hampton, Holiday Inn and Marriott. You can walk to campus from any of the above. All are acceptable places in a safe neighborhood.

There are 2 nearby Hampton Inns that we have stayed at happily when visiting Vanderbilt. The one on West Blvd is slightly more convenient. As mentioned above, not quaint, but a good value.

I'm not sure you'll find anything 'quaint' around Vanderbilt, but there are several hotels around. The hotels stumpworks73 mentioned are convenient to campus and also to some restaurants (PF Chang's, Bread & Company and Starbucks next door to the Marriott, plus more along West End). There's also an Embassy Suites on the other side of campus and slightly east.

My husband has stayed at the Marriott several times for business and says it is a nice hotel. (Not quaint sorry)

Thanks for your help! We found a room at the Holiday Inn Select with a Vanderbilt visitor discount on West End that is newly renovated. Hope its OK!
