I know this ranch is not on yourlist but we have LOVED the HOME RANCH outside of Steamboat Springs..the "lush" part of Colorado.. rivers, and gentle grass covered rolling foothills, and aspen groves that are so old and beautiful!
Do have friends who stayed at the Lost Valley with their 4 children and enjolyed their week there..something for all ages.

I did an "adults only" week last September at Wilderness Trails, and had a great time. The scenery was beautiful, the hospitality was great, and the staff was terrific. I am looking forward to returning there next year!
There is also a lot to do in that area besides staying at the ranch. Mesa Verde is not that far away, and I also enjoyed exploring Durango and Silverton.

DOCROX.....just wondering which you chose?
We are condsidering Historic Pines Ranch for our family next summer. There will be 11 of us, so am interested in a "reasonably" priced location and they seem to be about the least expensive that I have found.
Would like to hear from someone who has stayed there, especially with young children.
Thanks
