Naples walking question

Is it possible to walk from La Playa to the Vanderbilt Beach Resort ? I will happily walk 2 miles each way .
Thanks

Yes, it is no distance at all, though sidewalks are minimal or non-existent. It is a great stroll on the beach.

If you walk to Vanderbilt Beach, you won't have to pay the entry fee. A fabulous beach, lots of natural vegetation, showers, trees and picnic tables.

I think LLinda is referring to Wiggins Pass Park which is at the north end of Vanderbilt Beach, or possibly the beach area at the end of Vanderbilt Beach Road which is next to the Ritz at the South end of Vanderbilt Beach. Vanderbilt Beach is the name of the entire length of beach including right in front of LaPlaya.

Walking to the Vanderbilt Beach Resort by walking on the beach would probably be preferable to walking on the street.

Yes, I am referring to Wiggins Pass . Though my Mom lived in Ft Myers, we drove to the park for our beach days. It's one of the best areas on the gulf coast. Visited there for 20 years.
