Naples beach condition.

We are ariving at Naples Ritz in a couple of weeks. Can anyone tell me what is going on with Black water situation. Does it have any impact on the Gulf in Naples. Also, are stingrays active at this time of year. I heard that you must shuffle your legs.<BR>Thanks.

We were at the beach in Naples last month and it was just fine with no apparent sting rays. Lots of people have taken to wearing sand shoes to avoid shells, sting rays and such. We bought pairs for $5 at Walgreens.

Hi! We've just returned from a six night stay at the Ritz-Naples. Here's what I say. It's voted #4 in the country for very obvious reasons. It's totally fabulous! E-mail me directly for private info.

Dee, When you were at the Ritz did you visit the La Playa Beach Resort? If so what did you think of it? Is it very far from the Ritz? Thanks.

The Black water is gone. It was never close enough to the beaches, and didn't harm anything, anyway. They did have scientists out there checking it and all is ok. Go and enjoy.
