Napa Valley Spas

I will be staying St. Helena Oct 18-20. I'd love some advice on good spas with decent prices in the area so I can book a treatment now. Specifically, I am looking for a couple's massage package, but any info on spas would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

Laura, I just got a report from friends that loved the Mount View Hotel spa. They got a couples mud bath and massages for a reasonable price, i.e. the mud bath for a single was $40 and for a couple was $60. Then you can add on mineral soak and/or massage. They said the facilities were lovely and staff very professional. The Mount View Hotel is on the main drag, Lincoln Ave., in Calistoga.

Avoid the mud baths--way over hyped to sit in stinking hot mud.

Laura:
First, I should tell you that I'm a total spa buff. I look for them everywhere I go.
I also stayed in St Helena in early September & was looking to do the same. After calling around & researching several spas in the valley, I found Napa Valley Health spa to be the best value. They were right on Main Street in St Helena, & had wonderful facilities. I had the healing stone massage. I highly recommend them.
Enjoy!

I just booked bath treatment and massage for two at the Lavender Hill Spa in Calistoga. Any input on that one?
