Napa Valley: planning a destination wedding

My son, his fiancee, his fiancee's mother and myself will be heading to Napa Valley at the end of May to start planning a destination wedding. Any suggestions on "must do" and "must don't" both in experiencing Napa and planning the wedding would be appreciated. The wedding will take place spring/summer 2011. My son and fiancee have been there before but I have not. The four of us will be together for only four days.

Check out Auberge du Soleil for the wedding. Beautiful location for a wedding. Wonderful wedding spot that looks at over the valley. They even suggest a list of florists, cake bakers and were very helpful for our wedding there.

we love Auberge du Soleil!
Redd and French Laundry are lovely to dine for lunch or dinner.
Silver Oak and Joseph Phelps are great wineries.
Congrat's to you both!

You might try visiting some of the historic wineries. Saviez Vineyards has a wonderful tour and family history, as does Nichelini Winery.

Also, Terraces Winery does a nice vineyard tour (1885 ghost winery on property) in a 4wd mule, and you can taste balsamic vinegars and the complex process of making them.
