Napa Valley Accomodations, Quick!!!!
We will be in Sacramento this weekend (June 25-27) visiting family and we were going to take a day trip to Napa for wine tasting. We are both ultra-cautious and do not drive while intoxicated. That means one of us will not drink and be designated driver instead. That is unless one of you can recommend an inexpensive (under $100)place to stay in Napa!! We just returned from almost 3 weeks in Croatia and Rome so we will only stay the night if we can find a budget no frills place to stay. Any ideas?
I haven?t been to Napa for a couple of years so I would be happy to hear of your favorite winery (I have been to many of them over a few visits). Cheers! |
River Terrace Inn is new and had a rate of 109$ but that could have been temporary..
MAY be Travelodge in midle of downtown may have around $100, but I doubt if you will find much at this late date. good luck |
priceline.com. (Just make sure you are going--non refundable, etc).

Cheap digs are real hard to find in the Napa Valley. I just checked the Comfort Inn in Calistoga and you can get a AAA rate for $107 per night mid-week.
You could also check the Chablis Lodge in Napa or you could go down to Vallejo for a room (30 minutes from Napa) and probably find something for $60 or so. You could also just stay in Sacramento (1 hr from Napa). Of course the wineries are 15 to 40 minutes north of Napa. |
I agree with kikahead. Try priceline.com. I just stayed in Marriott Napa 2 wk's ago for $65 per nite. After tax and princeline fee, the total is about $75 per nite. Visit www.biddingfortravel.com for bidding tips.
Gd luck! |
