Nantucket- clean and simple lodging
 

Is it necessary to make reservations for simple, moderately priced lodging on Nantucket for Columbus wkend? Also, I did a search, but would love to hear any recommendations, keeping in mind my wife and I only seek a small, clean no frills room. (Please Islanders, as on previous posts, don't waste your time telling us not to come visit, it only makes us more determined) Many thanks.

ttt I too am looking for inexpensive lodging in Nantucket. Doesn't have to be on the ocean, just clean!

The Chestnut House B&B has a great location & is fairly priced for Nantucket. Also,Four Chimneys,Stumble Inn & Dolphin Inn. I would recommend reservations fo rColumbus Weekend

Bear in mind that "moderately priced" in Nantucket will most likely be at least $175/night. Ack gave good suggestions. You might also want to try the Brass Lantern Inn or Brant Point Inn. Their rates are on the lower end for Nantucket.
