Name the most beautiful beach in Oahu

Oahu surely has many great beaches. So here is my tough question. Which beach would you vote for as the best feast for the eyes this time of the year?

Lanikai beach for swimmers
Sunset Beach or Haleiwa to watch the surfers.
San souci if you want a safe beach to swim and people watch near Waikiki

I agree about Sunset, if it's just sightseeing you're looking for. Waimea Bay is a great sight as well, just for the sheer expanse of it all.

Aloha qz,

Aaaahhhhh the north shore for the Triple Crown of Surfing Competition >:D< A feast for the eyes for sure!

Haleiwa((R))Pipeline((R))Sunset((R))

Thanks for your input! Yeah, these are great beaches. However, let me narrow down the query a bit. Which beach is the best beach for its natural beauty? Which beach would you want to be on a post card?

lcuy Nov 29th, 2004 11:09 AM

lanikai, sunset, Waimea

Waimea. The other beaches you really wouldn't know what you're looking at on a post card.

Waimea is unique though, because of the bay.

Bellows Beach right by Waimanalo is very pretty, especially with all the trees.

Naming it is no problem. Pronouncing it could be a problem.

From what you guys have suggested so far, Waimea Bay is on the top of my list of must-to-see beaches during my rather short trip to Oahu. Thanks for the input!
