N.O. Where did Meg and John go?
 

I was just reading over some posts and wondered whatever happened to Meg and John?<BR>I got some wonderful information from both of them when I went to New Orleans last year and have not seen either of them posting recently. They were both locals so it was nice getting firsthand advice.

Meg and her husband sold their house in New Orleans to go on a sabbatical in Asia - she had said she'd try to keep in touch but it must have ended up being harder to do than she thought. John was needlessly "beat-up" by somebody after posting some great help, so I think he just gave up on trying. I sure do miss his input!

Let me tell you the honest truth, Meg and John ran off together to Hawaii. Don't tell.

Thanks for answering me, Cindy. I am sure Meg is enjoying her trip to Asia. I do miss her posts, though. Luckily I kept several from last year with advice that she gave me in case we do go back. <BR>That's a shame about John. Guess some people can be needlessly cruel on this website. Maybe he will pop back in again in a few months.<BR>They both gave great advice in my opinion.

Cathi: No problem - I've had some e-mails with Meg in the past when we were going to NOLA and she gave me good advice also. Between the two of them and Kal I've gotten great info - I had hoped to meet John and Meg, but now I'm really working on Kal and his wife to get our times coordinated so we can have a "Fodorite's" meeting someday. They're going to be too much fun!!!
