Mysterious cow attacks in Colorado (and elsewhere)?

Has anyone in Colorado, or elsewhere, heard more about this mystery?

This is REALLY creepy!

Phew. I feel better already. From the title I was afraid cows were going around attacking people!

Wow, I must be psychic! I guessed pesky aliens were to blame before reading the article. All I can say is that I don't care how many cows are mutilated, as long as they don't abduct humans and experiment on them!

That article was from last spring. We live in Colorado and did not hear anything about this. Hmmm. I wonder if that's a credible source?

I live in Colorado, and yes the local newspapers have had articles about recent mysterious cattle "mutilations" recently, in the southern part of the state.

These have been reported at various times since at least the 1960s. A very quick google search will turn up plenty of logical explanations for the phenomena observed. Here is only one, you might look for others

I guess you can tell from this link where I'm coming from. No little green men needed to explain this.

I had an image of the cows from "The Far Side" taking things too far.

I didn't want my last post to run too long. Think about it: if you are a civilization that possesses the technology to master interstellar travel, and you venture many light-years across the empty cosmos to reach our little insignificant speck of blue, are you really going to repeatedly cut out the soft organs from common cattle? And only cattle? Really? If you were interested in the flora/fauna of a strange place, wouldn't you take all kinds of animals? Maybe a few of the human ones too? Or better yet, you'd probably possess the technology to merely scan them to get your information, instead of cutting them up and leaving the remains to rot on the ground. Ridiculous.

wellididn'tknowthat, yes, I had the image of Far Side Cows also, walking around on their back two legs carrying chainsaws, machetes, and shotguns.

Maybe this is all explained by some confused purse maker. He thought it was make a "silk purse out of a cow's ear" and not a sow's ear. Somewhere some factory is making some mighty odd purses.
