Myrtle Beach restaurant for a small reunion
I'm looking for a nice, moderately priced restaurant with good food in Myrtle Beach. We are meeting friends there next week and there'll be eight of us. Any recommendations are appreciated. Thanks.

I would head to Pawleys Island and eat at either Louis's (outside) or Frank's Outback (outside).
Both have outstanding food and wonderful atmosphere. Worth the drive. |
GoTravel is right about the two great restaurants in Pawlelys Island (and Bistro 217 there is also very, very good).
But if you want to stay in Myrtle Beach, with a party of eight, there are some good choices too. In no particular order . . . More formal: Collectors Cafe, Martini's (North Myrtle Beach), Sea Blue (a seafood tapas restaurant in NMB), New York Prime (okay, a little pricey maybe), Aspen Grill, Thoroughbreds, and UMI Pacific Grill. Less formal: Ciao (small, casual, best Italian in town), Bonefish (it's a chain, but it's also a very nice, moderately priced seafood restaurant), and Flamingo (very good seafood, and it has one of my favorite dishes in town, an awesome pepper-encrusted seared tuna). Bon appetit! |
Thanks so much for the responses. Since we will be doing a few short trips to that area, I plan to try out a few of them. Up till this point, I'd only heard which to avoid :} Thanks again.

My favorite is Bonefish, even though it is a (small) chain.
