It was cute Budman...we knew you didn't mean undies. But...could I come if I had a prison tattoo? And what about my teeth--will it be a problem if a few are missing? Will you all leave the party and ask for a refund if you see me lookin' like that?? LOL

OK, airfare booked today. Flying in Noon on the 17th, departing on the 21st. I can taste the GoTravel shucked oysters and cold beer now.

Are there covered picnic areas, so it's a go, rain or shine?

I'm really looking forward to this GTG.

GoT, can we nominate you to be the boss, coordinate with b_d, set the menu, get the "stuff," and we'll split it up by however many show up -- everyone bring his/her liquid refreshments? Don't want any one person to be burdened with paying all the $$bucks$$. I'll feel bad I'll even buy you some beer, bring some whine to share.

Budman, the picnic sites are covered! We'll be there rain or shine and fires are allowed so we can build a fire and hover around the grill!

I am really looking forward to this too. I think we will also arrive on the 17 even though we're only coming from Wilmington. Please let me know if there is a specific something you would like me to bring. We will have our digital camera with us.

We could always wear thongs on the outside of our sweat pants as we hover around the fire

OK, a month to go. Anyone else going to be in the area? You don't have to love oysters to enjoy this GTG. You just have to bring your happy face. I'm sure there will be other goodies as well as some adult beverages.

Yes, it will be sandwiched between Tenn and Florida's ass whipping.

What is the scoop, are we set?

I have the site reserved and paid for and Mr. GoTravel and I are providing the oysters.

GoTravel,

I emailed you (your work email) this a.m.

You've done the bulk of it already, but Mrs. BD and I can fill in the gaps, such as non-oyster goodies for all those weirdos--oops, I mean inlanders--who don't eat oysters.

Also, as far as adult beverages, I was thinking BYOB. Everyone should have time to get some libations at Green's in MB (29th Ave North and Kings Highway, for the uniniated).

We (2) are still planning to attend. Should I just suggest some food items to bring, or are we dividing out from a list? BYOB as well. Kathy

My husband and I are planning on attending. I will plan on bringing a salad and a dessert. We're going to make it into a little weekend get away and we're really looking forward to it.

Okay everyone. Here's the low-down so far. GoTravel and I will bring everything (except adult beverages). We can settle up expenses at the cookout.

Oysters & reservations - GoTravel
Adult Beverages - BYOB
Plastic-ware, napkins, etc. - Me
Salad and dessert - jnine

Non-oyster food:

Here's where I need some ideas. Mrs BD and I will be glad to cover this (either some take-out, some cooking, or both). Mrs. BD makes a mean vegetarian chili (we don't eat meat except for seafood), and we can pick up some meat items for you meat lovers if necessary.

Please place your orders and make your suggestions! Thanks!
