Did anyone decide on a date? Please let me know if it is Saturday or Sunday so I can book the picnic shelter!

My husband and I plan on attending. What can we bring? The actual translation of this is "What can I ask my husband to make?"

Can he shuck oysters? Just kidding.

I'll leave it up to GoT and Beach_D to set the menu. I've already been told to leave my polish weenies at home.

We'll probably be driving down (yuck)! Airfares at that time of the year are getting out of control.

Just tell me what to bring and/or how much my share will cost.

We'll be 2, maybe 4/5.

I'll take care of the picnic site and the oysters.

Budman, here's your chance to make up your faux pas or should I say beer pas?

Thanks GoTravel!

The missus and I will be glad to bring something . . .

Go, here's your chance to take charge and boss the rest of us around!

I am assuming beverage will be BYOB, but we'll be glad to bring utensils, additional food, paper towels, etc.

I have a good recipe for cocktail sauce if anyone wants it!!!!

We will not be getting into the area until the wee hours of the morning so please make my assignment something easy or something I can whine to the neighbors to make and have waiting for me in the fridge!

BYOB -- I understand the park is alcohol free, so we'll definitely need to be discrete. Solo plastic cups, no beer/wine/booze bottles sitting around.

We'll definitely need some sort of menu/list of stuff to bring. Mrs. Budman will not be eating any oysters -- I'll be eating her share and GoT will be shucking?

Just some things/ideas that come to mind:
Frogmore Stew
Burgers
Dogs
Italian Sausage
Chicken
Shrimp
Buns
Condiments
Paper towels
Paper plates
Foil
Thongs
Charcoal
Starter
Lighter
Grills
Forks/Spoons
Salads?
Baked Beans?
Tables?
Table Cloths
Shucking Knives
Water for cleanup?
Yada, Yada, Yada.

Assign me something. Put me to work. I'll be in hotels the days before and during, so I'm no good on "cookin'" stuff. But, I can shop for supplies with the best of them.

I meant "tongs," but "thongs?" Yup, that's something to laugh about.

The easiest thing for icee and starrsville would be the condiments and paper goods.

Bring coozies for the beer and that will eliminate the need for solo cups.

For those of you that don't have coozies, no fear, Mr.GoTravel and I have 1,327. People leave them at our house for some reason.

Boss? Can I be the boss of everyone? He he he he he he he!!!
