Myrtle Beach

Need to know of a good hotel on the beach, never been here. Only staying two nights, would love any resturant recommendations also. We love seafood!!!

Have you looked at a map? Myrtle is huge. You'll find excellent fish at Russell's.

Do you want a chain hotel or a Mom and Pop?

Sue, are you talking about Russell's in Murrell's Inlet?

OP, you could go to the LItchfield Inn and have a quiet place to stay south of MB.

If you want a good hotel out of the crowded part of MB, look at the Hampton Inn Oceanfront. If you want to be in the middle of things, look at the Holiday Inn at the Pavilion. I love the restaurants at Murrell's Inlet too - but I like the quiet part of beach vacations. It depends on what you are looking for.

I grew up in the area, and Hoskins at North Myrtle Beach is the place locals go to eat seafood and BBQ.

Liz, A lot depends on whether you want to stay on the water or not. If you aren't really wanting to stay right on the water, there's an area called 'Broadway at the Beach'

http://www.broadwayatthebeach.com/

which is where I like to stay. It has so much to do and that's true if your children are with you too. It has great shopping, entertainment areas for the kids and even evening events. So, I don't know your price range, but there are a number of hotels near that area, but my favorite is a Mariott just across from the 'Broadway' center. There area also many good restaurants in that area regardless of your taste that day. I know you'll have fun there and if you decide to head for the beach that's not far either.

Just stay at the mall!! LOL
I really would look for something outside of MB unless you love gridlock and schlock.

Broadway at the Beach isn't even close to being a mall. It's an 'area' and a nice one at that. I think that's fairly obvious from the link that I provided. Have fun. That's the important part for you.
