My Wonderful Stay at the Dunes Motel in OC MD.
 

Stay clear of this place because it is filled with undesirables! "The family" as they are known in OC MD. makes this place their home. They rent 26 rooms and fill them all with kids and party-goers which results in a continual amount of screaming, running back and forth, large crowd gatherings, and visible drinking throughout the motel premises. "The family" has been banned from several OC MD. hotels because of their inconsiderate activities but the Dunes Motel welcomes them with open arms each year. I fought for a refund and I got it! You have been warned...

I think your headline should be more direct. I expected an ad for the motel. Another poster just asked about this motel.

Yep! You are all quite observant and I did join fodors with the specific intention of warning others about this motel. After all, isn't that what hotel/motel reviewing is all about? If it is a good place get the word out; however, if it is a rotten place then do the same. And, yes, I did target a 12 year old thread because I didn't know I should have started a new thread so I posted my concern twice. And finally, sorry about my title not matching my review. Maybe I should have named it something else. BTW, if you check around, there are other complaints about this motel's rowdiness and I really don't appreciate all the fault finding with my first post either so why don't you all book a room there and writhe a review yourself?

Did you put your review on Trip Advisor, that is where it would make the most impact.
