Enjoyed your reports and all the photos - not wure which were better, the ones of the scenery or the food! Where is Mackworth Island?

Mackworth is just a short distance north of Portland.

It's always fun to read a trip report about places we have been. I was a little worried about the food when your first meal was slices of pizza but it got a lot more interesting. We tend to stick with ordinary seafood. The crib stone bridge and other places in Harpswell area was featured last night on Boston Chronicles so I hope more people do not discover this area. Looked like you were at the gardens in the Acadia area at a great time.

This was a delicious report! Don't think I've ever seen one with close up food and drink featured in addition to scenery. We will take note of some Maine locales if headed north.
