My husband swears he has the answer. There are two solutions

1. Everyone flies naked. Everyone checks there clothes at the gate. No will be armed (at least not with a dangerous weapon. lol)

2. Everyone will recieve a handgun at the gate and turn it back in when you arrive at your destination. A lot of people would think twice about highjacking a plain with a box cutter when you have a plane full of people with handguns. (hey granny dont forget your glock the ticket agent was heard saying) lol
