It looks like we picked a great week to go to San Francisco. I did know that Fleet Week was going on that week too....that will be an added benefit.

DD and I are leaving this afternoon to spend the weekend in San Francisco - staying at the Marriott on 3rd. As I was packing last night, I discovered I had printed out an older thread here:

Catch an art movie at the Clay or the Bridge or simply relax in the great Kabuki Movie house.

If you plan to use the MUNI public transit system a lot, consider getting MUNI passports:

If you use cable car few times, because they cost $5 a ride, the passports pay for themselves quickly.

Because SF has a lot of steep hills, I use MUNI system extensively even for few blocks when I have a MUNI passport.
