Must sees in Outer Bank

I'm heading there this weekend and will be staying in Corolla, but I'll have a car. I'm looking for any advice about what we should do while visiting the Outer Banks.
Thanks!

You might just decide to hang on the beach, it is beautiful where you are going. But if you want to get aaround, here are my favorites to choose from:
1) Currituck Lighthouse, right there in Corolla. You can also visit Bodie Island Lighthouse and Hatteras Lighthouse if you want.
2)Wright Brothers Memorial at Kitty Hawk, where they made the first flight. Nice visitor's center and memorial, and a self-guided or ranger-guided walk to different points having to do w/their attempts to fly outside.
3) Jockey's Ridge in Nags Head. Largest sand dune (more like a mountain) on the east coast. Fun to climb in the evenings for sunset views. Great for flying kites (Kitty Hawk Kites across the road from Jockey's ridge has a great kite selection).
4) Will you have kids w/you? The North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island is a great afternoon. This is past Nags Head and over the causeway. And you can combine that w/Big Al's old time Soda Fountain, on the way there or back. And the Christmas store on the same road.
Could go on and on but those are fun and enough for more than a weekend.

On our last visit, we spent a day driving down to Okracoke and back again, stopping at all four lighthouses (Corolla, Bodie Island, Hatteras, and Okracoke). It was definitely the most memorable day of our visit--we still talk about it.

Thanks for the suggestions so far.
How long will it take to drive and take the ferry from Corolla to Okracoke?

Just to clarify a comment by emd. The Wright Brothers Memeorial is actually in Kill Devil Hills. That is also where the first flight was made. Kitty Hawk got the initial publicity because they had the closest telegraph to send out the news to the world.

Kitty Hawk and Kill Devil Hills are next to each other.

Are you staying a week or just the weekend? If you have enough time, an enjoyable day could be spent driving to Hatteras Island and getting the ferry to Ocracoke Island. Ocracoke has some interesting little stores on the back streets and many of the houses have their family graveyards in the back yard or across the alley. Rather fascinating!

It's hard to say how long a trip to Okracoke and back would be, because it depends on how often you stop and for how long. Do you want to climb Hatteras Lighthouse? See shipwrecks? Check out the wild ponies? Have lunch or dinner in a restaurant in Boxton overlooking the sound? Get an ice cream cone in Okracoke?

I would plan on a fairly full day so you're not rushed (leave after breakfast, get home after dinner).

I'm not sure where they are exactly, but we went to some sand dunes on the way to the Wright Bros. Memorial, and that was great fun.
