Back to the shoe discussion, Zappo's does not carry acropedicos. I m trying to find something similar on their web site as I love the free shipping and the return policy. Anyone know any other brand names that make this style of shoe, or how would I describe them to do a search?

There have been some cheap knock-offs of Arcopedicos in the past year or so. I haven't seen them in catalogues, but I did see a pair in a cheapo shoe store. I wouldn't trust them. I found the comfort worth the price and the shipping costs. |
I'm another flyer from Australia and 16 hrs to the states is plenty long enough. For me, trying to get a flight as late in the day as possible helps, because you're tired anyway and fall asleep more easily. Trying to get some sleep when it's only midday at your departure point is hard. As far as comfort items, toothbrush definately, a clean t shirt, anti bacterial wipes for underarms etc then some deodorant, and a pair of fresh briefs (knickers, undies - call them what you will). It's an interesting feat changing underwear in an aircraft toilet, but after doing all of this, you'll feel like a new woman. Remove makeup soon after getting on, reapply before you land. This gets me to my biggest suggestion, always take your makeup on board with you. If you find that your luggage was lost, wouldn't you at least want to put on your face to go to the shops and buy new stuff?
