The Liittleton Diner in Littleton, NH has spectacular breakfasts.

Having never had a truly great restaurant meal in NH, I am finding lack of responses to this thread amusing.

thanks for the littleton info. we love traveling and finding unusual interesting food stops. is there anything to see or stop that we should NOT miss while in this area?

It's hard to screw up ice cream, even in New Hampshire.

Sorry, I was away. Hope you went to the Littleton Diner. We like the Corner House in Center Sandwich (south of the mountains) and I would love to go back to Canoe on Lake Winnipesaukee. Yes, there are great ice cream places in many places of the state. Bishops in Littleton for one.

Have to admit that the places I would recommend on the NH/VT would be in VT: Carpenter and Main, Norwich Inn, King Arthur Flour café, Tuckerbox in White River Junction. In Keene NH, we've liked Luca's.

I know your trip is past but wanted others to know there are some very good places to eat.
