Mount Shasta Sacred Place

My family is looking for a sacred place at Mt. Shasta to "remember" my father on the anniversary of his death in July. Since Mt. Shasta was one of my father's favorite places, I thought it would be nice to remember him there. Does anyone know of areas in Mt. Shasta that are within easy access, yet secluded enough for privacy?

just kicking it back to the top--hoping someone could offer help on known spiritual/sacred places...

Someone close to me wants to be set free at Mossbrae Falss so I know what you mean. I'm going to give you a web site address for many other locations around Mt Shasta that might be good for your purposes.

http://www.kachina.net/~alunajoy/shasta.html

There are some beutifuk places along the Scramento River. There are actually falls along the river in Dunsmuir. It is a short hike from the bridge in the Shasta Retreat area.

Gail,

Do you know how far Dunsmuir or the falls are from Mount Shasta?
